Registered Membership
Registered Membership is suitable for landscaping businesses whose owners have been trading as a landscape business at least three years and who are able to meet the criteria set out in the Association’s Customer Charter. Each landscaping business must pass a rigorous inspection process before being accepted. The inspection is repeated annually for all members. After acceptance, Registered Members have access to the comprehensive range of benefits and services offered by both the APL and HTA. They also become accredited by the TrustMark scheme.

Probationary Membership
Probationary Membership is applicable to fledging landscape businesses whose owners have been in the sector for less than three years. These businesses are striving towards fulfillment of the criteria set out in the Association’s Customer Charter, after which they will be eligible to become a Registered Member. Benefits include access to the members’ area of the APL website, copies of our magazine, APL Update, admission to the Landscape Business Improvement Scheme, and awards and events at member’s rates.

Student Membership
Student Membership is available to anyone currently studying for a landscaping or related qualification in the UK. Student members receive our quarterly magazine, APL Update. There is no charge to become a Student Member.

Associate Membership
Associate Membership is available to businesses that are HTA members and supply products and services to landscaping companies. Associate Members receive our quarterly magazine, APL Update, admission to APL events at member’s rates and listing on the APL website. There is no charge to become an Associate Member, however, discounts on your products and services should be made available to all Full and Probationary members.
