Help find Britain's top 100 tradesmen

Date of release: 26th August 2009

Members of the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) are invited to take part in a nationwide campaign being run by TrustMark to find the country’s top tradesmen.

The campaign, part of an ongoing strategy to raise awareness of TrustMark and its members, aims to highlight the great work being carried out by UK tradesmen.

From across their membership TrustMark are looking to identify the top 100 tradesmen. Members can put themselves forward and encourage their customers to vote for them at www.100tradesmen.co.uk. The closing date for nominations is 25th September 2009.

The campaign will be advertised to the public through a series of billboards across the country. In addition flyers and electronic banners are available to members in order for them to promote amongst their customers.

Jason Lock, CEO of the APL said, “TrustMark accreditation is invaluable to APL members as it provides customers with peace of mind and an additional level of quality assurance – especially important during these tough economic times. APL members should maximise the opportunity provided by this marketing campaign and encourage their customers to vote for them. Amongst all the tradesmen across the country it would be fantastic if APL members feature in the top 100 listing and receive recognition for the high quality of workmanship and service that they provide on a daily basis.”

APL members will receive further details about the campaign and how to involve their customers direct from TrustMark.
