Discover the different types of APL membership below

Accredited membership is suitable for landscaping businesses whose owners have been trading for at least two years. You'll have access to the full range of services and advice available from the APL including:

  • An annual inspection to assure your customers that your work is of the highest standard.
  • Trustmark accreditation (a government endorsed standard).
  • The opportunity to take part in the John Lewis Home Solutions scheme.
  • The opportunity to showcase your projects at the APL Awards.
  • A listing on our consumer website and much more...
If you haven't been trading for two years, Pre-Accredited membership can help your business by providing you with advice and support. A business inspection will be carried out by our APL General Manager, Phil Tremayne, to give you the best guidance and tips on how to move your business forward. As a garden designer you can join the APL to network with our landscapers, increase your profile with a listing on our website, showcasse your projects at the APL Awards and receive advice and support from our APL General Manager, Phil Tremayne.

Do you supply goods or services to landscapers? By becoming an APL Associate member, you'll have access to our landscapers through events and seminars and you'll receive preferential rates for advertising in our publications. If you are currently studying landscaping or garden design, you are eligible for free student membership of the APL. You'll receive an e-newsletter once a month which will provide insight into the landscaping industry.
