Little Chalfont Family Garden

Our creative design proposal transforms the front garden from a bleak walkway across bare lawn to the parking area, into an inviting and intriguing space in its own right, creating the perfect setting for this impressive house and a joy to walk through. The driveway entrance was moved to create more privacy and space to park and turn, with new automated hardwood gates and brick and flint walling to create a smart and private entrance.

The rear garden becomes a more lovely space to spend time in, with lawn for family time and play, a sunken seating area with a firetable and comfy sofas for entertaining friends and family into the evening, and a neat little kitchen garden tucked away in a sunny spot near the kitchen.

The side garden becomes an interesting space on its own, for parties to spill out from the formal living room french windows, to a cosy coffee or drinks corner, overlooking soft and delicate planting. A mini-orchard for the family to enjoy picking their own fruit, and a playful abstract sculptural ‘dragon’ planting design adds fun and intrigue to the remaining garden spaces.
