We are absolutely thrilled with our 4x5M eco pond with a 4m stream that Dan,Tom and Emily created for us. Dan's enthusiasm is wonderful to see and he is determined to not just get the job done properly but it must be beautiful too. It is a work of art but with rocks, water and plants. Our tricky, steep site was handled with aplomb, it was fascinating to watch it all take shape. They always arrived on time and kept us fully informed of how the job was going. After all their hard work Dan definitely deserves the world class reputation he has. We also had a new patio area and barked filled, corten steel edged beds and a new set of sleeper steps as well. It was great fun to plant up our gorgeous, curved beds next to the patio ourselves. Dan and Tom planted up all the pond and marginal plants. After 25 years we finally have a garden out of a magazine, still hard to believe it's ours. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend DU Waterscapes to anyone considering adding a pond to their property.

Dan and his team created from a complete blank canvas of land a pond 5.7m x 9.2m, a 5 stage waterfall feeding back into the main pond under a ham stone, bridging the path. Dan also constructed a winding circular path to the rest of the garden planting various native trees with a wildflower meadow infill to the centre of the pathway and outside edges. The placement, type, and size of the stone and large boulders is testament to Dan’s talent in creating a pond and waterfall that looks from, the moment the pumps are turned on, looks completely natural. Without doubt it looks like it has been in place for many years and is not man-made but created by forces of nature. Dan installed pond lighting and pathway/garden lighting highlighting some of the trees. We receive various visitors including a pair of grey wagtails, some shrews that we see in the meadow sometimes crossing the path, along with bees and butterflies that habit the flowers in the meadow. In the pond we have frogs, newts,damselflies, and dragonfly all found their way somehow to the pond.
