Gartenart Swimming Ponds offer a range of specialist services in the design, construction and maintenance of swimming ponds and natural pools. We provide a one-stop-shop from conception to completion, through to aftercare, and have been designing and building swimming ponds and natural pools since 2004.
A swimming pond or natural pool is a living body of water with a very low level of nutrients. A swimming pond uses a planted zone and a filtration zone (the two are often combined) to filter the water before it re-enters the swimming zone.
The swimming pond design can be naturalistic (i.e. pond-like) or semi-formal. If it is more formal (ie pool-like) we call it a natural pool.
We can work with both designers and landscapers, on either a full construction or part-build basis. We work mainly in the UK but also abroad.
