Complete design implementation and construction of a contemporary family garden in Kent, transforming a new-build plot with poor ground conditions into a functional outdoor living space with natural sandstone paving, bespoke outdoor kitchen structure, and structured planting.

The project involved the full construction of a newly built garden following handover from the developer, where the site presented extremely heavy clay, poor drainage and significant water retention.

Extensive groundworks were required to remediate the sub grade, install drainage provisions and create a stable construction build-up suitable for long-term performance.

The layout was carefully set out to create strong visual axes from the house, linking internal living spaces to defined outdoor zones including a dining terrace, garden walkways and a covered outdoor kitchen / seating area.

Natural sandstone paving was selected to provide a timeless material palette that complements the architecture while soft landscape planting was introduced to balance the clean lines with texture and seasonality.

The result is a highly usable garden designed for entertaining, relaxation and year-round use.
