Greenwich Park, London
An existing cherry tree is to be retained within the new planting, which is designed to be low maintenance, provide year-round interest and structure, being largely evergreen with a fresh palette of green & white. The original York stone paving has been retained and re-laid, and a timber bin store introduced to conceal the wheelie-bins is screened from the house & street using evergreen shrubs and climbers. An armillary sphere sculpture inspired by the nearby Royal observatory sits within the planting. The Building is enhanced from street view with a design that is sensitive to its' architecture & history.
